Before packing, just tap on all items one time and put some naphthalene balls inside your baggage and pack it. Keep your baggage over the table (but definitely not under bed or dinning table). Keep that area dry, clean and well lighted, if you have maid service ask them to mop the floor with phenol or something equivalent mixed with water every other day.
